I automated all my social media posts from YouTube (100k convo) | Build in public E93
Build and Public Daily Update
In this video, I share my daily progress on automating my YouTube channel and social media updates through GitHub actions and an AI agent. I explain how I set up a system that automatically generates video summaries, descriptions, topics, and chapters, which then trigger posts on Twitter, Blue Sky, and community channels using webhooks. I also detail my experiments with the Push Cut app on my iPhone for quick social media posting and describe my process for cleaning up personal data, including a script that redacts sensitive parts of a massive WhatsApp chat log for immigration documentation. Along with discussing the technical challenges of balancing a freelance project and automation tasks, I also share personal insights into managing a complex 10-year travel log and visa requirements as part of my plan to move closer to my partner in London. Overall, I present a comprehensive look at my workflow improvements, troubleshooting, and future plans for further automation, emphasizing my commitment to streamlining my work while ensuring data quality and privacy.
